How to Wrap a Console Table in Faux Grasscloth | Grasscloth Table DIY

I love the look of a grasscloth console table. But a lot of them can be over $2000! So last Spring, I decided to try my hand at wrapping a console table.

I’ve used this faux grasscloth wallpaper in three bathrooms before. It’s affordable, easy to peel and reposition, and comes in a couple colors. I’ve used the blue/grey, navy, and beige. All were beautiful! It doesn’t have the ribbing that you get with real grasscloth, but from far away, you can’t tell. For this project, I used the Navy color.

I also searched the Internet for a console table that mimicked the lines of the Serena and Lily console table. This one from Amazon was super affordable.

Sure, it doesn’t look very nice as is, but wait until you see it wrapped!

You could also add these gold drawer pulls to the front if you really want to dupe the Serena and Lily console table.

I walk you through each step of wrapping this table in my YouTube video below.

I built the table the day before, and that took me about 20-25 minutes. It wasn’t too hard at all.

The next day, I wrapped the table using one roll of the wallpaper. The entire process only took me about 45 minutes.

I even show you how it’s held up over the past year!
