How to Do a Garage Door Glow Up With Easy DIY Tricks
Let me start by saying that I can't believe I'm using "garage door" and "glow up" in the same sentence, but here we are.
At our last house, we had two very simple garage doors. All of our neighbors had these beautiful carriage garage doors, with windows, moldings, trellises... I could go on...
I definitely didn't want to buy new garage doors just for the aesthetic, though.
That's when I found these garage door magnets!
They come in a pack of four faux hinges and two handles. This is enough for one garage door, so if you have a two-car garage, you're going to need two packs.
I added them on in literally seconds, as you probably saw in my reel.
Our old garage also had no windows! Windows on a garage door give it such a nice touch, but I also learned during our inspection period that garage doors with windows are also very expensive. To make them, they basically take two doors, slice the panel off of one, and insert a window panel into it. It doubles the cost of your doors.
Again, no need to tear out your garage door just to get the windows.
I added these magnets! They give you the rich look of windows on your garage door.
When the garage door repairman came to service them before closing, he told me he definitely thought they were real when he approached the house. So there you have it! We even fooled the experts on this one.
