Can you see through bamboo shades?
Although they may seem transparent from the inside, when you’re looking into your house during the day, they’re pretty much opaque. Watch the video below to see what I mean.
At nighttime, my Acorn version may show light through it. For instance, someone may be able to see the glow of a TV, but not what’s on it.
How do you mount them?
These blinds can be mounted inside of your window frame or on the outside of the frame. Whichever is your preference. We’ve mounted them both ways before. In the sunporch, our windows didn’t have a frame, so we mounted them from the wall above them.
They come with the mounting brackets, screws, and the wing nut you’ll use to secure them onto the bracket. All we needed was our handy drill.
